Title 1 Parent Compact

1. I will encourage my child to do well in school.

2. I will encourage my child to respect teachers, school staff, and other students.

3. I will share in the importance of my child's learning by helping with homework and promote the importance of education.

4. I will read with my child as often as possible.

5. I will work on math activities with my child as often as possible.

6. I will ensure that my child attends school regularly.

7. I will read messages from school and respond as soon as possible when needed.

8. I will be involved in classroom activities to help with my child's education.

9. I will monitor my child's extracurricular time by encouraging less television watching and encouraging educational and

physical activities.

10. I will attend Parent/Teacher Conferences.

11. I will participate, when appropriate, in decisions that relate to my child's education.
